God supplies!

We’ve all been there, taking on tons or responsibitly,  taking care of kids(trying to take them places, teach them right, treat them equal, play with them, be patient, be understanding, pick them up from school,  ect, ect, the struggle is real for both parents), making dinner, go shopping, cleaning the house, doing the laundry,  paying the bills(checing the bank account), mowing the grass, make your business grow , hoping and trying to change your spouse, to more understanding, keep things fair and do your share around the house, be like you used to be, be more affectionate, the list is LONG. Go to church, try to be a good servant of the Lord, study at home, take notes in church, pray, try not to offend the Holy Spirit. Trying to do a great job at work, fighting the flesh not to cut corners and do your best when no ones looking. Whatever your walk is or responsibilies in life. I’m exhausted just writing it all….

Face it, this is our very life now, and in the moment of all the choas we forget who is in control, who gave us these blessings.

Luke 12:24 (AMP)

24  Observe and consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feeds them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds!

God keeps favor on His children at work, He guides you to keep being patient with your kids, He tells you inside to be patient and forgive you spouse one more time, and teaches you to understand the type of day their having too. He reminds you although your car isnt new, and isnt perfect,  at least you have one. What would you do today without the clunker you have. Be in deep trouble I would assume. He keeps you fed, keeps clothes on your back and keeps you hydrated.

If God would make sure you have all these things, then why do we always feel like its our responsiblity to keep all these running, that we must drive ourselves insane, with sleepless nights, and distracted minds all day, wondering what will we do if…. where will we go if…. what if he/she doesn’t change…. what if… what if…
Matthew 6:25 (AMP)
25  Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing?

Matthew 6:27 (AMP)
27  And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life?

Matthew 6:31 (AMP)
31  Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?

Matthew 6:34 (AMP)
34  So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

The Bible says plenty about worry in it. Its very clear that the Lord doesn’t want us to worry. He wants us to trust Him.
One way to trust Him is to simply say “God I’m done trying to hold all of this up, you gave it to me Lord, so it’s your responsiblityto take care of it,  I’ll do what I can do and I trust you to do the rest, because it was all yours to start with.” You tell the Lord “It’s your job to fix my marriage, its your job to change my kids, its your job to promote me, its your job to keep me happy, its your job to fix our finances.”
Because when you do what you can do, then you just have to keep on waiting for Gods leading for the rest to fall into place. Stay in His peace and wait.
When you do that,  you take the pressure off your spouse, kids, parents, bosses.  To provide what only Gods was meant to. Your spouse can’t keep you happy, you can’t keep you happy, you’re kids keep you happy, buying things can’t make you feel fulfilled, entertainment won’t make you feel fulfilled. This is all Gods job.
Psalm 62:8 (AMP)
8  Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
Psalm 37:3 (AMP)
3  Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed.
Psalm 37:5 (AMP)
5  Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
Take the pressure off yourself and off everyone around you and tell God it’s His job.
The Lord gave you, your spouse, your kids, and your job. It’s His responsibility to change them. To change you. and everything that needs changed.
He wants you give it to Him. He stands by waiting for the opportunity to Bless you and show you His goodness. Love your Father. Start having that intimate relationship with Him! That He desires you to have.
  • Are you ready to be finally free of worry?
  • Are you readay to stop taking on the responbilty of everything in your life?
  • Are you ready to to be free of depending on everyone else for your happiness?

S-E-L-E-H (Pause and calmly think about that)

  1. Ah…. such NEEDED encouragement for this busy crazy maddening season of parenting!! I am IN IT with both my kids’ activities, end of the year events (Both graduating up to middle school/high school) and sports schedules… I can’t keep my head from spinning frantically through it all!

Thank you for this. I am going to breathe in His Word, pray through every worry and trust that God IS in control. (Especially with my girl heading off to Washington DC next week! ACK!)
