Gods Promises

Are you facing major life decisions? Getting or quiting a job? Moving? Having kids? Switching Churches? Switching your kids to a diffrent school? Getting a divorce? Getting Married? Ect.

Heres how you decide. First Pray… Then…

 Colossians 3:15 (AMP)
15  And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

If you don’t feel peace, its not of God. You can feel fear, but you don’t have to let that fear stop you. If you have felt the peace about the descion, then you know according to His word, it’s right.

Once you have peace, you know its the right thing to do. Now His timing is another. You also have to have peace when He wants you take the next step.

Habakkuk 2:3 (AMP)
3  For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.

Wow what a promise from God. We must wait with excitement, because when the thing thats on the way does come, it won’t disappoint or decieve, you’ll KNOW that you know, it’s from God and its exactly what He promised. Because He isn’t the author of confusion, but of peace. and it won’t even be behind a single day.

If your confused, if its from God or not, or your not sure if its Gods will or not. Than you have your answer… refer back to Col 3:15.

We can be estatic about the promises of God. We don’t have to make big decisions in our lives complicated. We just have to sense His presence in the decision and feel His peace.

We must learn to be Prisoners of Hope

Zechariah 9:12 (AMP)
12  Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you.

Hope

1. – Noun The feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn outfor the best:
6. – Verb To look forward to with desire and reasonable confidence.

7. To believe, desire, or trust:

8. To feel that something desired may happen:

Prisoner
noun
1. A person who is confined in prison or kept in custody.
 3. A person or thing that is deprived of liberty or kept in restraint.

Be a prisoner of Hope. Be deprived of the liberty of allowing yourself, confusion, fear, stress aniexty, depression, degativity, unbelief.

Start being hopeful, and wait earnetly for the promises  of God to come.
If not take long after seeking God and reading His word regularly that He’ll give you  a revelation or a promise pretaining to your current situation.

Learn to start seeing the silver lining, or say never the less, in every situation thats bad, try to think the best of someone when they make a mistake.

 ~Example~

Theres no parking places by the door, but I haven’t excerised today, so this will be good for me.

I couldn’t get to town to take care of things, but I can get things done around the house or yard instead.

I don’t know how we’re going to pay the bills this month, but never the less I will trust God and expect He will come through and take care of us.

There is  always, always, always a silver lining to every bad or stressful situation. But you have to make the effort to find it. Change your attitude and perspective about everything. It will help you to be patient (waiting with a good attitude) while waiting for His timing. His promise(s) to come to pass.

God rewards you for trusting Him and staying Hopful.

I find writing down everything I’m blessed with, cheers me up, voids what I’m stressed about and forces me to remember all God has already provived for me. Reminds me to be grateful and Thank Him.

Be a Prisoner of Hope

  • Will you decide to today to be a Prisoner of Hope?
  • Will you decide to see the silver lining?
  • Will you decide to acknoledge that God is bigger than anything you’re facing?

S-E-L-E-H (Pause and calmly think about that)
