I think fear is the hardest emotion to push out of our emotions. Fear steals our joy, our peace, our confidence. The list is a mile long.

I’ve heard it said as “False Evidence Appearing Real”. Funny thing is check out the dictionaries definition of fear…

Fear

1. a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.

6. anticipation of the possibility that something unpleasant will occur:

Synonyms for fear and afraid are;

scared, fearful, disquieted, apprehensive, timid.

I know fear has been a real enemy to me. Prayer and meditation of selected scriptures have made a HUGE difference in my life. Tonight I want to share with you some of these scriptures.

Isaiah 41:10

I fear not [there is nothing to fear], for God is with me. I do not look around in terror and be dismayed, for He is my God. He will strengthen and harden me to difficulties, yes, God will help me; yes, He will hold me up and retain me with His [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.

Take a moment to really look over Isaiah 41:10 alone…

Harden

-verb

1. to make hard or harder:

2. to make pitiless or unfeeling: to harden one’s heart.

3. to make rigid or unyielding; stiffen:

4. to strengthen or confirm, especially with reference to character, intentions, feelings, etc.; reinforce.

5. to make hardy, robust, or capable of endurance; toughen.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (AMP)
13  For no temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.

God will take care of you, if you do what you can do first.

what can I do about the situation I’m in??

Well lets make one thing straight. Worrying does not solve the problem.

Matthew 6:27

And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure to his stature or to the span of his life?

First thing you must do is realize this….. You can do nothing without Gods help.

You can do nothing without Gods help. There’s always another mountain to climb, the situation will always ask for more money, time, energy, focus, emotions ect. then you have to give. You are ONLY human. You are only one person living in this demanding fast paced world, and those people you think are doing great on the outside, and aren’t getting Gods help. I can promise you. they’re tired, they cry, they feel overwhelmed at times, they are struggling to appear fine, they need help too, and are driving themselves to the grave early.

Ask God for Help.

Luke 11:9 (AMP)
9  So I say to you, Ask and keep on asking and it shall be given you; seek and keep on seeking and you shall find; knock and keep on knocking and the door shall be opened to you.

God really wants to help you.

Isaiah 40:28-31 (AMP)

28  Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.
29  He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].
30  Even youths shall faint and be weary, and [selected] young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted;
31  But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)

9  But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

Those scriptures are so powerful!!! and comforting.

He wants to help you out of your situation, He wants to Bless YOU

Isaiah 30:18 (AMP)
18  And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]!

Wow!

You have to accept this is who God is. Period. He doesn’t care what you’ve done. Once you have repented and let Him in your heart and Life. You are His to Bless, His to spoil, His to take of, His to protect. You are a child of the living almighty Maker of the universe.

He says about what you’ve done.

Hebrews 8:12 (AMP)
12  For I will be merciful and gracious toward their sins and I will remember their deeds of unrighteousness no more.
Hebrews 10:17 (AMP)
17  He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more.
Psalm 103:12 (AMP)
12  As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

His favor

Matthew 5:6 (AMP)
6  Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!

  • To surrender this weight and listen to His voice?
  • Arent you ready to mount up and be strenghtened through Him?

S-E-L-E-H (pause and calmly think about that)
